BUILDING THE TYRRELL P34, WHERE TO START?

Well in my case it is more a question of going in reverse first. I bought the Tamiya 1/20 scale tyrrell P34 kit from a guy who had already started it, so I had to assess if the work done was worth keeping or dismantling. Of course I wasn't happy with what I found and to top it off the glue used was real bad stuff that didn't hold anything.

Dismantling the previous work was pretty easy and caused almost no damage. One trick to undo a previously built model is to put it in the freezer overnite before taking things apart. Mind you if the glue used was the Humbrol plastic poly it will be a lot harder since this stuff melts the plastic together.

So far I seem to be lucky and no parts seems to be missing. But it is always possible that Murphy will pop its ugly head during the build. That's always a risk when buying an open box kit. I see it as a challenge. :)

Remember it's all about having fun.
